On Wednesday the 2nd of July the Alain Pouliquen exhibition was officially opened in HAUSSMANN REAL ESTATE's agency in the harbor of Nice. For the event, an internet television channel, UNIK, came to the agency go interview the artist and other personalities present for the occasion. It was a wonderful occasion for us to spend a relaxing evening with our clients and business relations, surrounded by Pouliquen's sculptures and paintings enjoying  the 'finger food' prepared by our chef de cuisine, copiously washed down with chilled, provencal rosé!

We especially thank Hervé Demongeot and Stéphane Piernet who helped to make this evening an event.

Alain Pouliquen

Alain Pouliquen  starts early in the ceramic art by becoming a student of the painter and sculptor EDOUARD COLLIN.  Then he worked with Helen Kanaka, sculptor and ceramist, as designer before opening his own workshop in association with the painter and sculptor, PIERRE RINAUDO. After a few years their paths diverge Alain POULIQUEN decides to open his own gallery in the old Antibes "Atelier du Septentrion," which allows it to display and sell the works, especially among famous American collectors.

In 1992, in the charming village of Callian, where he then lived, he creates a new workshop.

In August 1993 he exhibited in the gallery of the famous antiquarian GISMONDI in Antibes  then in St. Tropez at HENRI GARELLI,  and finally the "Moulin artisans" of Loumani, glassmakers in Valbonne.

In 1995, Renée LAPORTE gallery, opposite the museum Picasso d'Antibes, opens its doors for a solo exhibition of 120 pieces that will last 2 months.
